Congratulations to Jeff Mowry and his team for placing 2nd in the Corporate chili division at the Board of Water & Light Chili Cook-Off. This great team of chili coinsurers also place 3rd in the people’s choice award. The recipes continue to be a hit among those who try it, coming back for seconds and thirds. None of this would have been possible without the help of these fine men and women of Local 333. Chris Mouton and Steve Torok who were instrumental in cooking the chili . Doug Bowerman who helped with cooking and serving the chili, he also helped set up the booth. Beth Young and her son Grant decorated our booth and served chili. Don Kelly with his fiancé Megan, Bryan Leek, Jeremy Garza, Ron Arnett and girlfriend Cindy, Dustin Howard, and Mike Cousino who also helped serve the chili. There was a total of 112 volunteer hours given to this charitable event. All proceeds that were raised will go towards the Wounded Warrior Project. Any chili that was left over was given to the very appreciative Lansing City Rescue Mission. Thank you members of Local 333 for your commitment to such a charitable event!
