WATCH OUT 2017 BOSTON MARATON….HERE COMES JODI

Jodi South (daughter of Jack and Irene Jackard), ran her heart out in the 2016 Boston Marathon

on Monday April 18th. That’s not all she’s about though. This dedicated, hardworking athlete

is also a compassionate Good Samaritan. Jodi’s last 2 runs were in the snow and 32 degrees. With

the warmer weather this year, Jodi had to hydrate more than normal. At around mile 23 of the race,

Jodi made a choice to attend to a man who could hardly stand. She braced his hand on her shoulder

and got him to water and to the medic tent. Her sacrifice cost her some time, but for Jodi, it’s people

who really matter. Congratulations Jodi for qualifying for the 2017 Boston Marathon. You’re an

inspiration to us all.

Steve Torok was the winner of the Attendance Drawing. He was not present.
